Most of the time I don't understand my people buy and SUV over a car or Minivan. Yea I know minivans aren't all that cool but they can do most of the things that a large SUV can do and deliver better fuel mileage and a better drive usually for less money. for the most part the SUVs are never taken off road and the 4WD is mostly used for extra traction in the snow. however a 2WD car with 4 snow tires would get similar traction and turn and stop better then just an SUV. most of the time they are just driven around on the road with just 1 person in them. usually hitting a curb is the most extreme off roading they get to do. the spike in fuel prices show just how useless and expensive these vehicles are.
